The annual Doernbecher Freestyle Collection is a joint effort between Doernbecher Children’s Hospital (Portland, Oregon) and Nike. Every year, a group of special Doernbecher patients, who have defeated a serious illness of some sort, are selected to design authentic Nike shoes that are sold to the public in limited numbers.
